Description
The first Corgi Land Rover was issued in blue with a white roof and yellow with a black roof. The green one was only issued in the Gift Set with a Pony Trailer. Neither the blue nor yellow 406 models had a canopy.
This is a super example of a blue and cream model with shaped wheels rather than smooth. It also has no ‘handles’ at the rear, making it one of the last produced.
There is practically no damage to this model, merely very small nicks to the cream cab roof. The windows are clear and even the upper edge of the rear section is virtually unmarked. The base is very clean and the tyres and wheels excellent. The tin hook is in place and this is all sound and original.
