Austin-Healey Gold-Plated Trophy Edition Model

A nice example of this hard-to-find model. Corgi made a small quantity of their Austin Healey models available to Marks & Spencer for a ‘Trophy’ branded series.

Only five models were ultimately included: the BRM and Vanwall FI Racing cars, the MGA and Triumph TR2 and this Austin Healey. They were all issued in a gold-plated finish and fitted with the criss-cross ‘spoke’ effect wheels that had been used on some Aston Martin models in the normal range.

This example has a good finish but some signs of play wear and the windscreen has been replaced. The base is clean and the tyres original.
