Description
A nice example of one of the very first Corgis issued in 1956. The non-mechanical editions were issued in shades of mushroom as well as this cream. This one seems to have survived very well with the thick paint retaining its shine. There are a few chips which are more noticeable in this colour but really it is a lovely looking model.
The windows are quite remarkable and are the cleanest that I think I’ve ever encountered on a model from this era. The wheels and tyres are all original too and this has certainly been very well looked after to date with absolutely none of the usual touching in or complete repainting that you tend to find, unfortunately, nowadays on these models.
