Description
A nice old model from the first releases in 1956. The Austin Cambridge is usually found in cream or a darker grey than this colour in Mechanical versions, as well as a very scarce orange-red colour. I can now see that this one has been overpainted, probably a long time ago.
This has quite a lot of wear to the paintwork and has some glue-like substance on the windows. The wheels and tyres are good and the model is, otherwise totally original with a clean base which has not been removed for the paint job.
I apologise for not spotting the (rather obvious!) paint on the base and windows earlier. Maybe someone can make a better job? It’s still quite a charming model.
