Description
One of the Mechanical issues from 1956 with a friction motor. Not particularly popular these were withdrawn from production a few years later. The 405 was usually green and the 405M red with either a black or silver ladder on the roof.
This example has had quite a bit of wear but the motor still works well. The windows are a bit dirty but they’re not cracked. There is a small scratch on one pane at the front.
The wheels are bright and the tyres original. The roof ladder does not look like the ones normally found with this model so may belong to another. It is a bit long but looks fine and may well come from the same era.
