Here is the lovely Chevrolet Sting Ray – an early edition in metallic cerise with shaped wheels instead of the more common wire wheels.

The chrome is excellent – many of these now show only the yellow plastic beneath – including that on the bonnet panels. The jewelled headlamps are all present and good and the windows are clean and clear. The paintwork itself, though, is quite vulnerable and has a few chips. Nevertheless, it looks lovely on display as the photos show.

The suspension is good and tyres original. This is a good, all original example with no touch-ins or replacements
