Description
Here is the lovely Chevrolet Sting Ray – an early edition in metallic cerise with shaped wheels instead of the more common wire wheels.
The chrome is very good – many of these now show only the yellow plastic beneath – this one has little wear except on the bonnet panels but is really very nice. The jewelled headlamps are all present and good, this being one of the few examples I have found where the lights close nicely in line with the bonnet and front edge. The windows are clean and clear. The paintwork is very fresh and clean with only very small signs of wear.
The suspension is a little low but it sits evenly and the tyres are original. This is a good, all original example with no touch-ins or replacements.
