Cutting buggy foam is an underrated but powerful tuning option for carpet buggy racing. Not only does it eliminate inconsistency in foam widths out of the package, it also ensures a truer, more balanced fit inside the tire. An overpacked or unbalanced foam can create an erratic, hard to drive handling feel for your buggy. Our Factory Drivers suggest cutting the foam to the exact width of your tread pattern for a more forgiving, easier-to-drive feel that also promotes more even wear across the tire.
