Ford Thunderbird 215 ‘1959 Edition’ – Fully Boxed Collectible

Description

The lovely Thunderbird model was made between 1959 and 1961 and the normal, most common edition has smooth wheels with ‘1959’ embossed on the rear registration plate. In 1960 the ‘1959’ was removed and very late in the production period shaped wheels were fitted in place of the smooth type.

This is a fine example of the second issue and is quite rare. It is in excellent condition with just minimal loss of paint on the rear fins. The screen is original and undamaged and the model is otherwise superb with a good, clean and bright original box, complete apart from one end flap.
