Description
This is a 1.2mm thick spring steel chassis designed to fit the Awesomatix A800R & A800RR. At only 1.2mm thick, this will drastically lower the center of gravity allowing for better handling and more corner speed. The flex characteristics of spring steel create a very forigiving car.
This is not the original Awesomatix SCC. This is an aftermarket chassis from WEi RC.
A WEi RC screw kit is required for assembly.
If converting from a thicker chassis plate (such as RAF or carbon), you will need to replace the lower bumper with Awesomatix P14-1-RS or modify your existing bumper to fit.
It is recommended to space the dampers up 1mm when using a 1.2mm chassis plate. This will require use of Awesomatix AM278-EVO bulkheads or modifying your existing bulkheads by removing 1mm of material above the damper. You can use Awesomatix ST237 spacer to raise the dampers.
