Description
This is a very attractive an unusual item which should appeal to collectors of the original series. It is a totally original Jaguar with a working friction motor but which arrived with very poor paintwork. Rather than remove the base, I have kept this model original and intact and just removed the rest of the paint and polished the Mazak cast metal.
It was a bit of an experiment as I really do try not to break open models unless they have broken windows or other problems that necessitate it. I am pleased with the finished item and believe it looks great as a sort of iconic display of a great 1956 model.
I am quite happy to keep it in my own collection so it is not for sale at a bargain price.
