A lovely example of this scarce model. Corgi were late transferring the Mini to Whizzwheels and this didn’t appear until 1972 and was withdrawn a year later, with the larger scale models now taking priority at the shops.
Despite its short production period, however, there are many varieties: silver or black base, type of wheels, interior yellow or red and windows tinted or plain. Then there is orange, mid blue and a metallic blue to find too!
This is an orange edition on a silver base with yellow interior and ‘four crowns’ style of Whizzwheels. Boxed models sell for several hundred pounds now.
