Description
This is an odd edition. It’s not as if Corgi were stuck for things to do with the mini moulds, with many other models and minor variations around. Anyway, they chose to make one of the few black cars in their catalogue and to add stick-on wickerwork to it!
I think I might have seen one for real at the time and thought it was decidedly odd. I certainly didn’t rush out to buy this.
I would now, of course. There aren’t many around where the decals have survived as well.
This is a nice, clean car with the later cast wheels. From what I can tell these are slightly more common than the earlier normal wheels, the car being around for quite some time and is included in the later Car Transporter sets.
