Description
This spanned a period pf change at Corgi, starting with cast, spoke effect wheels and suspension and then getting the standard Whizzwheels and no suspension with a slight change to the base. It retains the red coupling but there is also a black coupling which appears on a version with cast 8 spoke wheels. (I think the 8 spoke version came before Whizzwheels but I am not sure).
This particular example seems to have two brown horses whereas I think the original ones were black and a smaller one in white. Now, there may have been changes later in its life but I cannot say if they are original or not.
This item is offered either as part of Gift set 15 with a Whizzwheels 438 Land Rover towing it or individually. Again, I am not sure if it was offered individually with Whizzwheels and it is not that common with them. They really do not look right
