Rice Pony Trailer Model – Early Red Edition with Rare Original Box

Description

An excellent example of a scarce early red Pony Trailer with the wire tow bar with very good paintwork and nice wheels and tyres. 

It is one of the best red Pony Trailers I have seen with only a few very small chips.

This is a rare version without a handle at the top of the ramp. This was short-lived as it proved difficult to raise the ramp to open it, a ‘handle’ being added to both this and the cream and red models.

A pony with a brown cloak is original and included. 

The box is the later style whereas this would have been issued in 1958 and should have a blue box. This box, though, is interesting as it appears to have a factory error with the content being omitted from one end flap.

I am happy to separate the model and box if required and reduce the price accordingly and I can also supply the correct 406 model Land Rover to make an early Gift Set 2. Let me know if you wish to make any changes.
