Some models that I get are just too worn or broken to be retained as originals but rather than discard them I try to bring them back to life with various spare parts and a fresh coat of paint.
I am not trying to restore any model, merely make it something someone might like to display again.
This is a lovely model and looks really good. Indeed, it could be the Saint’s car and, in some ways, it would be more accurate as you’ll never have seen any gigantic sticker or transfer on the front of his car in the TV Series! It doesn’t have a Simon templar in the driving seat either, although you could add one easily if you wished, add a transfer and call it a 258 instead.
