Description
From VRP is the ‘XV4’ Pistons for the Associated and Schumacher 10th buggies. The pistons are made so they will fit either brand!
Each VRP ‘XV4’ Piston features our patented split valve design, like our 1/8 ‘XV4’, and adjustable rebound rates with 4 colored upper washers. This creates a Strong Piston, Patented Valving, and Rebound Adjustability that no other piston can offer!
Use the stock bottom washer. We supply the top washer and valves with the pistons.
Rebound rates:
Black Washer – Highest amount of rebound. Red Washer – Less than Black, very similar to our XV3 rate.
Gold Washer – Less rebound than Red. Blue Washer – Least amount of rebound.
More rebound will give more grip, more chassis roll. Less rebound will give less grip, and match up to higher grip tracks. As a starting point, try Gold Washers in Front, and Red washers in the rear.
