Description

The Chevrolet Astro was one of the first Whizzwheels models in 1969 which meant that it started out with the ‘red spot’ wheels. If Whizzwheels had stayed like that we might have felt more kindly towards Corgi in those days!

This a wonderful example of the later model, with splendid deep teal blue paintwork and sparkling silver-gold features. The rear section lifts smoothly and raises rather strangely the seats and the two very smartly-dressed people inside.

It is all original. Thoroughly recommended. The model was withdrawn a year later and may be one of the Whizzwheels series that is actually less common with the ubiquitous plastic wheels.
